P.E.A.C.E. People Everywhere Against Corrupt Establishments Internet Scrabble Club's first Political Par-tay!

The trust involved in giving up some control for a better world is akin to when you're in love and you give a bit of yourself to your partner, risking getting hurt in the future in exchange for a better world for all. In the same way that some people are incapable of doing that for love, some organisations and countries at present are incapable of relinquishing control of part of their own destiny for a better world for all. Our par-tay's aim is to bring the world together for the greater good of all.

On a scrabbling front, we see all dictionaries as the children of Multi, the great all encompassing dictionary. Hail Multi! Hail Sowpods! Hail the ISC!

Whilst the Triumvirate and the membership agree with the aims of the Par-tay, we are all perhaps more interested in the socialising and/or alcohol consumption which will occur at par-tay meetings... So let us Politically Par-tay!

The first Par-tay Conference is to be in/near Birmingham's Balti district (UK). The following are currently on the Conference Agenda:

1. Finding a pub and getting the first round in
2. Par-tay Manifesto - Discussions and Finalisation
3. Drinking games
4. Limbo contest
5. Gan f'r'a Balti
6. Passing Out in nearby B&Bs

Of course, we need to firstly pick a date and a location for the Conference, and then identify who will be going. Once that is done, we can choose some accommodation for the over-nighters. Sally63 has volunteered to do this.

I don't think we need a par-tay leader, as the Triumvirate can handle this. Any thoughts?

The Triumvirate accept that it may be difficult for the non-UKers to attend, and so we will perhaps attempt an Internet link to the par-tay conference, or at least attempt to remember what we discuss!
